Week 3

Phew...so Jackson's gas pains him so bad that his cries truly break my heart. I am so thankful for the great mommy resources this blog has brought me. I never knew there were so many blog stalkers out there (I do it too when ever I have time...and with this fussy baby it has been a bit less). I have to pretty much force my dad to read it (you're better now Daddy), so it surprises me that people actually read this thing.

This last week I had monster baby / angel baby every other day. Natalie came over for the weekend and treated our family to Chinese food, winner winner chicken dinner, and formula for Jackson. We even got to sneak out on Saturday and got reflexology at a place by my house that is AMAZING. I truly recommend reflexology, I used to think it was only for your feet but they totally massage everything but you keep your clothes on and it's in big room. They can find your tense spots and although a bit painful for seconds, the pain goes away. Best part...60 minutes...$25!! I had it when I was trying to induce Jackson, but this time was amazing as I could lay on my back and stomach now.

Saturday brought Meagan, Jessie, Carrie, and Dana over too and we had fun with champagne and raspberries in the sunny backyard. I love my girls. Sunday we went out to Justin's parents and watched Jackson's first Bears game...they lost and Urlacher is out for the year which makes for a sad husband. It's starting to cool down a bit, I HOPE that it keeps getting more fall-like, I am over summer.

Thank again for all the help lately ladies!

p.s. This is my baby, I gave birth to him. But he is 100% Justin...I don't see any of my features on my little man. Maybe they come with time. I think he's a hunk though.

  1. Yay for the latest pics, I'm so sorry that the past few days haven't been easy. Last Saturday sounds like loads of fun, I'm so jealous that I can't be there but loved the pics Nat sent. I know Jackson looks just like Daddy now, but give him some time. Last night we were looking at old pics of Calum and at first he was brown and looked just like Mark and now I think he looks a lot like me. Plus, as Mark says-you wouldn't really want a boy to look like you, you will want your little girl to look like you (because of course you are totally having at least one more, right?!!). Love you guys xxxx
