Shelby Graduates WSU!

I honestly can't believe this weekend came so fast. I cannot believe my "baby cougar" graduated this weekend. Justin and I flew up to Spokane as did my mom "Slim Cheryl." Shelby picked us up and we drove down to Pullman. I always get goosebumps as I go over that last hill to P-Town. Always. We visited Shelby's apartment and saw true college living and then up to see the new CUB. It is amazing! There are tons of restaurants, the Bookie is there now, and they have a restaurant downstairs that has 40 beers on tap. We had beer at the CUB. We also saw the new renovations on Martin Stadium.

Shelby had a 7 p.m. final on Friday (EW!) so we relaxed at our fancy hotel (NOT) in Moscow, Idaho. Justin had never been to Idaho so he was a bit excited. We had dinner reservations at the Fireside Grill (by the newish movie theaters). Shelby's boyfriend Andrew said he had car trouble and couldn't make it but her surprised her at dinner. Cute.

Early Saturday morning we got ready and went to Beasley to see Shelby graduate. I don't know if it was the hormones or my admiration for my sister's accomplishment but I couldn't now stop tearing up through the commencement song. Afterwards we celebrated with beers at Sellas, a photo shoot at the WSU sign, and to the Coug and some delicious fried food. We also visited Valhalla, Shakers (now Stubblefields), and went to see the bears who had 3 baby cubs. Towards the end of the night we drove to see the huge bronze cougar statue outside Martin Stadium. Liquid courage made the boys climb up the cougar for a picture. Oh Geez!

Sunday we got around, headed back to Spokane, and had an easy flight back to the OC. It was so fun to show Justin Pullman, see Shelby graduate, and to say hi to the Ashtray, DG house, and to Pullman as a whole.

  4. I didn't have a full beer....just sips off other people. I look pregnant now so in public I don't want to scare people by drinking. But I did have a few sips this weekend. XOXO

Pullman makes me really miss you guys!!!!!!
