Today Christy and I got a letter in the mail that we were nominated for Huntington Beach Educational Foundation's Educator of the Year as a team. They had a lot of nominations but we have been selected among the top five nominees for this honor. How cool! Our room parents had other parents from our classrooms put in nomination letters and I wish we could read them. It is a so flattering to be recognized and nominated. We interview next Wednesday together for the final selection. If we win we get to ride on the float at the Huntington Beach Fourth of July Parade. Ha ha!!! I'll be as big as a float by that time.
