I missed the internet....

So friends I am finally back to the real world and connected to the internet again! It is so hard, you realize that how to plant an orchid (thanks Carrie) or when Elvis died, are not easily answered questions without the internet. 

Moving was quite a chore, but we are 100% here at 6552 Peggy Circle in Huntington Beach, CA 92647. I like the house, it now needs a lot of "touch-ups" like decorations and color. We are still unpacking and I feel like after a long day of working, the last thing I want to do is come home and unpack all the random things. Plus our "garage sale" pile takes up most of our garage, it's amazing what I've held on to and I got rid of so much because I'm anti-clutter these days. We cleaned ALL day on Monday and I think I felt beginning arthritis in my hands from scrubbing for 9 hours straight, cupboards, baseboards, toilets, windows, blinds, ew, ew, ew. I'm looking for a housecleaner right now! 

As far as life is concerned here...Justin and I have been watching a lot of old DVDs, eating out a lot since he HAS to watch the Lakers and without cable this is not easily done, and school has been busy, we had our "Teddy Bear Picnic" in place of a Valentine's Day celebration. 

Ultrasound yesterday was very cool. I thought it would just be a scan (didn't know the lingo, but expected blood tests) and it was a finger prick for Down Syndrome testing, etc. and so they could measure the baby's neck. At 13 weeks the baby we moving around, I heard the heart beat (152 bpm this time), and the nurse said her "just for fun guess" was that it's a boy....but don't go shopping just yet! I hope it is though. So does Justin. Next appointment is 2/23. :) 

I'll post pics of the new place when I feel I have moved enough junk that it looks semi-presentable, maybe this weekend.
