My happy list...

My 31st birthday was VERY good to me in the present department...

1. My mom got me an awesome gift but I cannot say what it is exactly because my seester has a birthday coming up herself and we like the same things.

2. My seester got me my Mark Jacobs Petal to the Metal pouchette. Love that little bird.

3. Justin got me a cute sundress and new Von Zipper Spazz sunglasses. He did good this year! Also took me out to dinner at Anqui and drinks at Charlie Palmer's and got us a room at the Hilton while Natalie watched Jackson overnight. So nice. Even if there was a "Longevity" 3 Day conference at the hotel and all the hippies walked around eating raw food and stinking up the hotel.

4. I ordered Jackson some sweet toddler cowboy boots for Stagecoach. In just 20 wake ups Mom and Seester will be here and a few days later we will be out in Palm Springs (MY HAPPY PLACE) to see Carrie Underwood, Loretta Lynn, Rascal Flats, Kenny Chesney, to name a few. Jackson comes too because it is a kid-friendly festival. He went last year too and it's fun to dress him the part--hick baby clothes here we come. Boots---check!

5. I have been super crazy crafty for months (maybe even over the top) for the upcoming baby shower I am throwing for my Ruppy at my home on this Saturday. It's an owl theme...whoooooo's having a baby? Pictures to follow. I am very excited to see it all comes together and it will be so nice to shower such a wonderful woman inside and out.

6. I think there are only 44 more wake-ups till I am done teaching for the year. I love my class, but I LOVE summer vacation and babies at the beach more.

7. A little over a month till my London bestie and her big twinie belly, adorable 2 year old, and leather jacket at the park wearing hubby are here and we get to go out to my HAPPY PLACE (PS) again!

8. My new orange lamp from Crate and Barrel my dad and Charlotte got me that I would have never picked out for myself, but looks so great in my home. It makes me smile.

9. The crib tent. Good night Jackson. Still doesn't sleep well, but at least I can put him to bed at a reasonable hour.

10. A few new recipes that are healthy and I love make me happy.

11. The girls weekend in honor of Megs J looming on the horizon and I once again get to travel to my HAPPY PLACE --thank God Palm Springs is driving distance from me.

12. And last but not least....to my 19-month old who cracks me up every day. I heart you Jackson...and your radiant fro (said a mom in my class).
