Isn't this crazy. Justin works at Chimayos at the end of this Pier on the beach. Yikes.

I prefer this day!
Usually everyone in Southern California freaks out over a little rain but today in my classroom when the skies got completely black and it was raining sheets and winds got up to 72 mph in Newport Beach down the road, my heart started to beat a bit faster. Of course I had to be in my final stretch of the day with 29 five year olds I was responsible for their safety. Parents started to rush down the hallway to fetch their children because of the Tornado warning. Warning it was...an actual tornado touched down on land right by our old townhouse in Huntington Harbor/Seal Beach area. Yikes. It over turned an SUV and ripped off a roof of a house. What??!!! Police were driving down the road saying to stay inside your house. It was really freaking. But after going through a semi-emergency dismissal all my kids were picked up safely and I could breathe again. Needless to say I rushed home from school today to cuddle Jackson a bit more close. Who would have ever thought a tornado in HB. Auntie Em...a twister a twister!
That is so scary. Glad you were all ok. I cant believe the weather you guys are getting down there. Hope it clears up soon. I KNOW
