DG Founder's Day

So it's been a bit hectic lately with school (Dr. Seuss week was last week with theme days each day and Dr. Seuss night on Wednesday where Ruppy and I were guest readers of "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish) and waitressing. I've been working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the restaurant because we are having a crazy 10 year anniversary week/month with $10 filet mignon, halibut, crab legs. It was SOOOOOO busy but I made some mula so it was survivable. I am starting to show barely in my Savannah's baby tee so my server friends kinda make fun of me, or tell me my little bump is cute. I don't know if the customers I'm serving drinks to would find a pregnant cocktail waitress appealing, but they'll deal with it. Ha!

Well on Friday Dett came down and met me at work when I was getting off, Justin is also not drinking for 30 days (he's trying and succeeding so far), so I'm sure it wasn't as fun as it used to be sitting around our house drinking wine all night. :) We had great talks and I just love Kristina's laugh, I wish it was my ring tone. On Saturday we woke up early and drove down to San Diego, picked up Meagan, and went to UCSD & SDS Delta Gamma Founder's Day. It was at Prado Park which is huge, gorgeous, and really more than just a park it's like a small city. We sat at a table with two alumni DGs from Oregon, and 4 baby freshman DG's from San Diego State. They were so cute. One was even from Washington and went to Kentridge like Huzar, her sister Heather Harlow had been a Gamma Phi at WSU. Small world. The luncheon was nicely presented and there was the cutest little old lady DG with 75 years of membership there! We had a mini-DG photo shoot and then booked it back up to Orange County. It was really fun, and Shelby shipped me my pin in time so I could sport it for the morning. I'll be better about keeping up the blog from now on, now that I'm not working so much.

We find out March 24th if the baby is a boy or a girl.....I don't really have a feeling but Justin's dad already said he had a grandson to the neighbors so let's hope it's a boy. ;)
