We were those tourist at the park. It made us die laughing when we got stuck on a hill.

We called my mom "Sue Sylvester" for her track suits all weekend. This was actually the first time she'd been on a bike since being a teenager she thought. You know what they say....

Can you even see Jackson? This was a fun first time thing to do but the ride seemed to last forever with me in my head thinking, "What if he tries to jump out? What if there is an earthquake? What if a pin comes loose?" It was fun!

My mom was in town (finally) last weekend. It was so nice to have her here and to have a playmate for Jackson as I was officially exhausted from school and then high fiving Justin on his way to work as I walked in the door. We rode beach cruisers downtown, we dined Jackson-free at Capital Grille where Justin bartends, we took Jackson to a My Gym class, we took advantage of friends and family 30% off at the Gap, we rode a ferris wheel and a ferry in Newport-Balboa Island, and we rented one of those ridiculous bikes at Irvine Park yesterday. I should be getting ready to teach 31 five year olds right now, but 99.9% of me wishes it was still this nice long weekend. Aaaahhhh......
