I flew in Thursday night to Seattle and then drove to Bellingham and Jackson has already been having the time of his life at Grandpa's house. If you came to my wedding two years ago (last time I was home too) you'd know there is a lot of land to cover. Jackson is on it! J throws the balls for the dogs that actually bring it to him and lick his face (sorry but Abby does not do this) and he met the horse and was TERRIFIED and cried because it came right up to Jackson to say hello. We took him to the splash park that is new at Fairhaven Park and he crawled through all the kids running around, got right on top of the spouts, took some splashes in the face with a smile, and it was hard to get him out. It's been so relaxing being home. My dad and Charlotte are the best cooks and I really get spoiled here. The weather has been amazing, but this morning I'm realizing I only brought one sweatshirt up here. Hopefully it warms up again. Justin flies in Sunday and we really miss him. Today my dad has invited family from around Washington over for a BBQ sorta like a family reunion. :) I am excited to see my sister Kyla and for her to meet Jackson though since it's been 2 years since I saw her too. It's kinda different falling asleep to the sounds of cows mooing and farm animals rustling around...ah country life.
