I miss my Ruppy already! Take care of this one Seattle ladies. She's amazing!

Today we attempted to bring baby J to the Angels game. We had great seats and uncle Al and Dovidio joined us too. Baseball games are a bit different juggling your beer and a baby (ha ha) but it was fun and although quite squirmy Jackson stayed up the entire time and it was a win in the 9th and actual great game too! Jackson is HUGE...toddler size, just ask every random stranger that tells me that he is HUGE so stats will be up soon.
On a sad note....(tears welling a bit now...) I am losing my best friend Christy Ruppert to Seattle. Her husband Brad got a great job with Amazon so he is taking her up there too, I guess that's what marriage is all about. She works next door to me and it just won't be the same teaching "our grade level" without my pea in the pod. She is the most selfless and compassionate person I have ever met and I miss her already. Miss my Ruppy...she was the first one I told I was pregnant, came to Washington for my wedding, Palm Springs for my bachelorette, was there in the hospital playing guess the weight when Jackson was born, and just recently sent me to Yosemite with a surprise weekend for my birthday and planned my party. I just don't really know how to comprehend losing my friend and co-worker I have planned to teach with my whole life. :( It will be an adventure and another great reason to come home to Seattle.
Yes, he is HUGE and Miles is tiny, everyone thinks Miles is about 9 months :) I guess we could trade and lie about their ages? At least Jackson can fit into his pants without them falling off his butt and around his ankels all the time.
ReplyDeleteSorry you're losing your friend down there, that sucks! But...a great excuse to come up to the rainy NW. At least you have lots of friends up there to introduce her too...where are they going to live?
Darling pics from the game! Jackson is so cute & smiley! That made me sad about your friend moving away :( I hate when friends move away, so sad! Luckily it's to Seattle, which is somewhere you would come visit anyway! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOU BABY J!!!!!!!! You are the cutest! AND Ruppy...you will LOVE Seattle and Seattle will love you so much! Miss you already!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much I love the photos from the game.... They are perfect, really capture the experience and Baby J is lucky to be so cultured! Sad that Christy is moving but at least you know you can keep up a long distance friendship and like Meghan and Michelle said, perfect reason to make more visits (timed of course with my visits so I can see you more, too!). Love you x
