*Jackson is almost four months old now. At his check up Wednesday he is 27" inches long, 19.10 lbs. (I KNOW...he's big), and head is 44 cm (never quite knew why this is so important). Although he is for sure a big boy the doctor said he is healthy and happy.
*Justin who watches Jackson during the day when I'm at work then bar tends at night at Chimayo at the Beach in HB since construction is so slow right now, is maybe out of job. (SCARY)?? The restaurant was sold a week ago to Duke's which is upstairs, they had been having financial problems at the other stores in the company and had to file bankruptcy. So....he re-interviews for his job on Monday morning and I really hope he gets it as Dukes is a completely different concept than Chimayos. Chimayos was also my cocktail waitress job and now I'll have no summer job or way to pay off my credit cards so I'm bummed too. It was like another family there and I will miss it a lot.
*That means Christmas is a bit less intense this year. I did do a few Christmas cards and we finally got a tree last night. Justin hung lights a few times and they didn't work (poor guy) so finally on his third attempt every night at 5 p.m. our lights come on.
*It's impossible not to shop for Jackson but I am going to take my credit card out of my purse right after Christmas. He got a jumper a bit early as his Christmas present from Justin and I and he loves it. We call it his office since it looks like he's sitting at a desk. He just flirts with me from the "office" the whole time. For some reason each time he finds me in a room he gets super excited and giddy like he's flirting with me. I love it!
*I took him to see Santa with Christy when we were at South Coast Plaza. We only had a digital camera and he wasn't dressed in his holiday best so I plan to go to Fashion Island on Thursday when my mom and sister get here. He didn't seem to mind him one bit though as it probably just felt like another person to be passed off to.
*At school I threw a holiday show and it went great but I'm SOOOOOOO happy to be off for 16 days and get to snuggle Jacky Pooh all day long. Now off to wrap a few presents and trim the tree. :)
Oh I'm sorry to hear that bad news :( It's crappy everywhere. I hope you're not too down during this season...just be happy for what you HAVE :) A beautiful family!!!

Tara! I can't believe it about Chimayos! Fingers and toes crossed for Justin. Love Jackson's Jumperoo, this is hands down the best gift and worth every penny for the "hands free" baby time you get from it. Love Jackson's legs in the second pic, too cute. Love you lots and will call when my Mom leaves so we can catch up. Enjoy your snuggles :).
