For the past 7 months we have had our pumpkins ruling our backyard. It all started from Justin's dream late March when I was barely showing that if he planted this Big Mac pumpkin, one day we could put Jackson in the Jack-o-Lantern. The pumpkin patch seemed to grow feet per day, took up most of the backyard, and had to be cut late July before it took over the house. The four nice sized pumpkins we got sat in the backyard, not rotting even with the heat, till Halloween. Finally, Justin got his wish and we put Jackson in the Jack-o-Lantern yesterday. We also got comments from the trick-or-treater's parents about our amazing pumpkins all night (good for Justin's gardening ego since almost everything else died). Is it bad I'm a bit sad to see the big pumpkins go? I have gotten a little attached. Sniff sniff.
Holy pumpkin! Love the photo with Jackson in it, it turned out great (bet he was fun to clean off after you took him out!). Maybe this will be a fun tradition for Justin and Jackson, planting pumpkins and seeing how big they will get every year. Love you guys x
