I KNOW HE'S BIG...now I know what parents of freaky tall kids feel like ("He's so tall, does he play basketball?"...you know what I mean). I've been hearing how gigantic he was since the second I delivered and I just want to scream. He's still a little baby to me (fat rolls and folds included). The pediatrician suggested cutting the amount of food from 4 oz. to 2.5 oz. and not feeding him when he cries sometimes. Trust me I try not to, but he is HUNGRY. I am going to try to help him learn to love his pacifier.
Plus side...he is wearing all his cute 3 month old clothes early, I was getting a bit tired of the newborn ones. And the biggest plus...he is the most snugly baby ever!
Yay Tara! Jackson seems so healthy. I think fat babies are the best. His lips look so kissable, what a little man you have there.
ReplyDeleteOh, Tara-how cute is he?! I know how you feel as the parent of a (lovely) chubby baby, it's hard to ignore the comments but you know better then anyone as Jackson's mom that he is happy and healthy so there is no reason to be worried. I feel sorry for parents of underweight babies, that's when it must be hard! Anyway, just checked and Calum who has always been 91st percentile was 15 lbs 6 oz at 13 weeks! Must for sure mean Jackson is 98 or more which is great. Something else you might want to try when he is crying/hungry is giving him water (room temp or slightly warm). We've done this from time to time and apparently it's good for sucky babies and can trick them into thinking their litle tummies are getting full. Love you guys xxx
ReplyDeleteMaybe people will ask if he's going to be a linebacker?? Too funny! I love this big fat baby!!
